MARCH 2017 NEWS

As the early days of March 2017 is now upon most areas of the country it's a great thing that once again Punxsutawney Phil, the famous Pennsylvania weather predicting gopher (or more so its spokespersons) was once again wrong.  Perhaps Phil needs a properly calibrated motometer to help him because as of March 1st Spring is on its way to full bloom.  Weeks ago the Washington, DC Cherry blossoms were on the verge of opening and the Spring gosling chicks took their first swim in the pond behind our home and the grass is starting to green up nicely as March 1st's near 60 degree early morning weather was perfectly warm for morning exercises.  Obviously we are excited to start the warm weather seasons as you probably are as well.

Yes, admittedly the cold and sometimes snowy weather put a bit of a stumbling block in front of our typical robust motometer activities but nevertheless we pressed on.  Below is a summary of a few activities that occupied our time and attention.
