Actually in the public sphere as early as December 1912 (care of the 1912 New York Auto Show), shown here is an early representation of the Boyce Moto-Meter from am industry trade publication. This illustration compares favorably and closely with the two early 1914 unit examples shown in the Boyce Gallery.
